Kanoa was a ground-braking product at the time it was invented as a truly wireless earbuds that connect to each other and to the phone via Bluetooth. The product was still in the making and the client wanted to launch an app that fluently sync with the earbuds at the same day. Adding to that is the fact of introducing brand new technology that the app is bringing to the market.
The Solution
Without any precedents, we had to start by following researches. Distilling client’s requirements to the main features that can be launched in phase one, we started building our strategy around the launch. We worked on hundreds of iterations for design to reach the right depiction of the Audio Transparency sound feature in the app. We walked with the client on this fine line till launch, and from there we started gathering usability feedback to better the product.
